Watch the tiny little Aragonite crystals appear and gradually place themselves to form a cluster of beautiful pure white blossoms.
Blooming Rock is a limestone mineral occurring most abundantly in Western Utah. Crystallization of rocks takes millions of years through natural metamorphic processes. When directions are followed, the chemical reaction is a smililar but greatly speeded up process (up to 2 - 3 weeks).
Image 2 is an example of the aragonite crystals beginning to form around 2-3 weeks.
